Job Description:

Nedco is seeking a highly skilled Project Quotations Specialist to support our branches in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage both commercial and industrial projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer and Supplier Relations: Resolve disputes and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to drive business growth.
  • Quote Analysis: Evaluate quote requests from contractors, sales representatives, and bid depositories, and analyze product requirements to determine feasibility and profitability.
  • Quotation Coordination: Coordinate quotations from various sources to create a comprehensive package for customers.
  • Order Management: Oversee order placements with manufacturers for quoted material on project orders, and expedite orders according to delivery schedules.
  • Closing and Reporting: Complete closing sheets on all quoted jobs and review delivery schedules to ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

  • Education: College diploma in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of related experience in the industry, with strong project management and Excel skills.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, time management, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and IBM AS/400.
  • Assets: Product knowledge of the electrical business, experience in quotations/project coordination, and strong analytical skills.
