The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing commercial and industrial projects from start to finish
  • Resolving customer and supplier disputes in a timely and professional manner
  • Reviewing supplier and customer terms and conditions to ensure compliance
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors to drive business growth
  • Coordinating regular job status update meetings with sales teams and management
  • Evaluating job closing losses to identify areas for improvement
  • Obtaining and analyzing quote requests from contractors, sales representatives, and bid depositories
  • Overseeing the quotation process to ensure accurate and profitable quotes
  • Coordinating order placements with manufacturers for quoted materials
  • Expediting orders according to delivery schedules
  • Reviewing delivery schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Completing closing sheets for all quoted jobs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 2-3 years of related experience in the electrical industry
  • Strong Excel skills and project management experience
  • Product knowledge of the electrical business is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and negotiation skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office and IBM AS/400
