At Shannex Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SPECIALIST to join our team in West Bedford, Nova Scotia. This is a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art transitional care centre, providing expert care and support to patients who require additional time, services, and support to transition back to their previous living situation.

As an Occupational Therapy Specialist, you will be responsible for administering and interpreting standardized and non-standardized tests and evaluations to assess occupational therapy-related concerns. You will also develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical records, observation, and referral, and evaluate progress in relation to occupational therapy treatment provided.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Occupational Therapists, and knowledge of the principles and practices of occupational therapy, anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology as related to the practice of occupational therapy.
