Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including restocking shelves and rotating products.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and product displays to create an appealing shopping environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a retail or food service environment, preferably in a meat department.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
