We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Specialist to join our team at Halton Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that reprocessed items are provided to patients and clients in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to guidelines and standards set by organizations such as CSA, PIDAC, MDRAO, and Health Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure reprocessing equipment is functioning properly and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clients to meet their reprocessing needs
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Develop and implement processes to improve reprocessing efficiency and quality
Requirements
- Grade 12 education required
- Current certificate from a recognized college Medical Device Reprocessing Course required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Aptitude for working with delicate and heavy equipment
