Job Title: MDR Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MDR Technician to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our Medical Device Reprocessing Department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all reprocessed items meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards set by organizations such as CSA, PIDAC, MDRAO, and Health Canada.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure timely and efficient reprocessing needs are met.
- Operate and maintain reprocessing equipment, such as washer disinfectors, steam sterilizers, and low-temperature sterilizers.
- Collaborate with the team to drive change and innovation in patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Minimum grade 12 education required.
- Current certificate from a recognized college Medical Device Reprocessing Course or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience using reprocessing equipment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Aptitude for working with delicate and heavy equipment.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required.
