Primary Care Medical Director Opportunity in Northern Vermont

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Primary Care and Outpatient Medicine team in northern Vermont. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the outpatient care and medical directors of quality for primary care, facilitating office flow and addressing day-to-day clinical aspects, and acting as the direct clinical supervisor for outpatient medical practitioners.
Responsibilities- Provide medical leadership and direction to the Primary Care and Outpatient Medicine team
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Supervise and mentor medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in outpatient primary care
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Experience with EMR optimization and implementation
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of primary care medicine
