Primary Care Medical Director Opportunity in Northern Vermont

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our Primary Care and Outpatient Medicine team in northern Vermont. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will oversee and guide outpatient care, facilitate office flow, and address day-to-day clinical aspects. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a clinician and leader in a close-knit community.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to outpatient medical practitioners
- Develop and implement best practice strategies for outpatient care
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other healthcare professionals to achieve quality and patient satisfaction goals
- Manage and optimize EMR systems, including Meditech Expanse and Dragon dictation
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and organizations
- Minimum 5 years of practice in outpatient primary care
- Experience with RHCs preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- EMR optimization and implementation experience
