Primary Care Medical Director Opportunity in Northern Vermont

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Primary Care team in northern Vermont. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the outpatient care and quality initiatives for our primary care services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a close-knit community with a low cost of living and access to beautiful outdoor recreation opportunities.
Responsibilities- Oversee and guide outpatient care and quality initiatives for primary care services
- Facilitate office flow and address day-to-day clinical aspects
- Act as direct clinical supervisor for outpatient medical practitioners
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of the healthcare team
- Participate in medical director responsibilities and administrative time
- Minimum of 5 years of practice in outpatient primary care
- Full-time outpatient position with leadership/Division Chair interest
- Provider must have a strong commitment to staying and practicing within the community
- Experience with EMR optimization, implementation, and development
- Excellent IT and marketing support to help build volume
- Competitive compensation, including wRVU productivity, and benefits package
- Medical Director stipend
- Annual quality bonus up to $10,000
- Commencement bonus and retention bonus (for years 2 and 3)
