Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Physiotherapy Wortley Village. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to their recovery and well-being.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development. As an Occupational Therapist with our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, educating clients on topics such as pacing, pain, and cognitive behavioral strategies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
- Provide education and support to clients on topics such as task modification strategies and cognitive behavioral strategies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and psychologists
- Participate in case conferences and case management
- Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Registration (member in good standing) with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- New licensed graduates are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in psychotherapy is an asset
- Previous experience treating clients with physical and mental health is an asset
- Post-graduate training in concussion and cognitive rehabilitation is a strong asset
