Mental Health Professional

A Mental Health Professional with expertise in clinical psychology is required to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that involves working with diverse client groups, developing new mental health programs, and leveraging evidence-based approaches to deliver high-quality care.
About the RoleThis permanent part-time or casual position offers flexibility in scheduling and work arrangement. The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing whole-person care using a biopsychosocial approach. You will have opportunities to work on MVA and LTD claims, develop program content for various client groups, and leverage novel approaches to delivering mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments for treatment planning and diagnostic purposes
- Provide individual and group treatment for anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment, and interpersonal issues
- Consult with other mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams
- Develop and evaluate mental health programs for diverse client groups
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (competency with adult populations; clinical)
- Individual professional liability insurance
The following qualifications are considered assets:
- Experience working on Long Term Disability claims from MVA 3rd party funders
- Proficiency in French is a strong asset but not a prerequisite
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
