About the RoleThe Program Manager, CASA House will provide day-to-day leadership to a multidisciplinary team, overseeing clinical and service delivery operations, human resource management, coaching and mentoring, budget management, staff education and training, and program development and quality improvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership to a high-functioning clinical team, ensuring the provision of evidence-informed practice in the assigned program.
- Overseeing the development of holistic assessment and treatment plans that are family-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive of biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors for patients and their families.
- Ensuring high-quality record management through the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Monitoring workload distribution and ensuring it aligns with program needs and staff skill sets.
In this role, you will also be responsible for:
- Participating in the complaint resolution process for patients and families.
- Leading the planning and implementation of training opportunities at the program level, collaborating with the Clinical Education department on initiatives extending to the whole organization.
- Ensuring patient safety event reporting and immediate risk mitigation.
- Reviewing quarterly patient safety reports for program-specific trends.
- Maintaining documentation and privacy policy adherence.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A graduate degree in clinical psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or nursing, or a bachelor's degree in nursing with relevant experience.
- Current registration in good standing with a professional college identified under the Health Professions Act.
- A minimum of five years of clinical practice in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions.
- A minimum of two years of clinical leadership in a mental health setting.
