Clinical Pediatric Nutrition Specialist

CASA Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health is a leading organization in mental health care. We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at CASA House, a live-in program for teens with significant mental health and/or addictions challenges.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nutritional assessments, develop patient-centred health plans, and educate on healthy nutrition and chronic disease management. This role involves participating in the development of nutrition resources, acting as a resource for the CASA House team, and ensuring evaluation data collection.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science with a major in Foods and Nutrition
  • Completion of an internship program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada
  • Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA)
  • Minimum two years of experience as a clinical pediatric dietitian

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individual patient-centred health plans
  • Provide information and education on healthy nutrition and chronic disease management
  • Participate in the development of nutrition and healthy lifestyle resource materials
  • Act as a resource and support to CASA House team members
  • Help identify evaluation measures and outcomes
