About the Role

CASA Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at CASA House, a live-in program for teens who require support with significant mental health and/or addictions challenges.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with parents and caregivers as active participants in treatment, providing comprehensive bio-psycho-social mental health assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and facilitating psycho-educational and/or therapeutic groups for children and caregivers.

The Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as providing case management functions, including convening case conferences and liaising with community services and other professionals involved with the child and family.

Key qualifications include a graduate degree in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or nursing, with a minimum of two years of clinical practice in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions. A valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle are also required.

We offer a competitive wage range of $43.17 - $55.39 hourly, with a shift structure of Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day. The primary location is CASA House, and the union is In-scope. The classification is Mental Health Therapist, with an FTE of 1.0 (36.25 hours per week) and a temporary status until May 2025.
