We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at East Side Mario's (Sunridge).

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of our restaurant.

Job Description

As an Executive Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive high-quality food and excellent service in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, but a degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a chef or kitchen manager in a similar establishment is necessary.

You must have excellent leadership skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a strong attention to detail. Additionally, you should be familiar with kitchen safety protocols and have a good understanding of food handling and preparation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee all kitchen activities, ensuring that meals are prepared and served promptly and efficiently.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support personnel.
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that meet customer demand and align with our restaurant's brand and quality standards.
  • Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses, including inventory, supplies, and labor costs, to maintain profitability.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
