">Salary Information
">The salary for this role is determined by considering various factors, including work location, local labour market conditions, external market salary data, internal pay equity, and the knowledge, skills, experience, and anticipated proficiency in the role. The estimated salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on the individual's qualifications and experience.
">Job Responsibilities

- Conduct onsite risk assessment consultations with Wawanesa members and prospects, maintaining expected performance standards and following Risk Services Team Guidelines.">
- Measure buildings and complete accurate replacement cost estimates on company-supported insurance-to-value appraisal platforms.">
- Complete fire mapping diagrams and detailed floor plan sketches utilizing company-supported software when necessary.">
- Analyze findings from infrared surveys and work with supervisors, underwriters, brokers, and members to support completed field surveys.">
- Stay current with the latest risk services/prevention techniques and trends through courses, seminars, and industry associations.">
Qualifications
">- ">
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in risk services/loss control/prevention or a related field.">
- Post-secondary education and/or industry-specific experience in loss control, engineering technology, trades, safety management, property management, building inspections, insurance, risk management, occupational/industrial safety, and health.">
- Strong knowledge of building construction types and materials, common and special hazards, and fire protection systems.">
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed analysis of information and select and implement best solutions in a timely manner.">
- Ability and willingness to travel, with working conditions that may include exposure to outdoor weather, environmental hazards, noise, dust, chemicals, animals/livestock, and working alone.">
- Level I or Level II Infrared Thermography certification from a recognized training facility is preferred; training may be available.">
- Completion of CIP, CRM, or equivalent Property and Casualty industry designation is considered an asset.">
