Food Cost ControlEstimate and control food costs, ensuring that they are within budget and meet the company's financial goals.
Staff Supervision and TrainingSupervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they meet the company's standards.
Chef De CuisineAssume the role of Chef de Cuisine, overseeing the preparation and presentation of all dishes, and ensuring that they meet the company's quality standards.
Inventory ManagementManage inventory levels, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are stocked and available when needed.
Food Safety and QualityEnsure that all food is prepared and presented in a safe and healthy manner, meeting the company's quality standards.
Requirements- Education
Cook Trade Certification, Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC), Safe Food Handling certificate, Cook Red Seal Certificate, Emergency First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in menu planning, food cost control, staff supervision, and inventory management.
LanguageFluent in English.
