At The North West Company Inc., we are seeking an experienced Administrative Supervisor Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Financial Services, Front End, Customer Service, and Post Office teams. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Excellence
    • Prioritize and deliver exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
    • Quickly and effectively address customer complaints and inquiries, providing timely solutions and follow-up as needed.
  • Office & Front End/Customer Service Management
    • Oversee customer credit details and manage receivables, including follow-ups on delinquent accounts to minimize losses and maximize revenue.
    • Support and participate in Financial Service Programs, including cashing fees, Link Tax, and MasterCard promotions to drive sales growth.
    • Supervise Post Office operations where applicable, scheduling cashiers efficiently to meet customer demand and maintain a high level of service quality.
    • Support Loss Prevention initiatives to protect company assets and prevent theft.
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Ensure staff provide outstanding customer service in the Office, Post Office, and Front End, meeting or exceeding company standards and expectations.
    • Work with supervisors to recruit, train, and develop staff in the Office, Front End, and Post Office, providing coaching and feedback to enhance performance and achieve business objectives.
    • Supervise, coach, and develop employees to enhance their skills and performance, staying within company policies and collaborating with peers to support the store's vision.
    • Passionately advocate for the purpose of being a trusted community store, delivering and assigning great work.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
