Job Description

The Administration Supervisor role at The North West Company Inc. is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Financial Services, Front End, Customer Service, and Post Office (where applicable). This position involves implementing company standards, safeguarding assets, and developing staff skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Service Excellence
  • Prioritize and deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with customers.
  • Quickly address customer complaints and inquiries effectively.
Office & Front End/Customer Service Management
  • Manage customer credit details and oversee receivables, including follow-ups on delinquent accounts.
  • Support and participate in Financial Service Programs, such as cashing fees, Link Tax, and MasterCard promotions.
  • Supervise Post Office operations where applicable and schedule cashiers efficiently.
  • Support Loss Prevention initiatives to protect company assets.
Staff Training and Development
  • Evaluate staff performance in providing outstanding customer service across Office, Post Office, and Front End areas.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to recruit, train, and develop staff in these departments.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance employees' skills and performance.
  • Maintain alignment with company policies and support the store's vision through teamwork.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary range based on location and experience. The estimated annual salary is between $$60,000 and $80,000.
