Director, Alumni Relations and Community Engagement

Mount Royal University is seeking a highly motivated Alumni Relations Director to lead the office of Alumni Relations in a new direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to engage alumni and foster meaningful relationships.
This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of alumni relations, community engagement, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective engagement strategies that drive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to engage alumni and foster meaningful relationships
- Collaborate with leaders across the university to promote MRU's brand story with alumni audiences
- Assess current alumni programs and identify new initiatives that most efficiently and effectively connect alumni back to MRU
- Build collegial relationships with MRU faculty and leaders to capitalize on connections with alumni
- Participate in external relations work and broker community partnerships
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated leader with exceptional judgment and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and have a high energy level with a comfort juggling many competing priorities.
