Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement

Job Title: Director of Philanthropy and Community EngagementWe are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our fundraising efforts and build strategic partnerships. As the Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement, you will be responsible for guiding and motivating our team to achieve revenue goals, developing and implementing fundraising strategies, and working closely with our Executive Director, Board, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans, including major gifts, grant applications, fundraising events, and direct mail campaigns.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donor prospects, including individuals, corporations, foundations, community groups, and granting organizations.
- Lead the development of high-quality support materials, proposals, grant applications, and presentations for presentation to donors, prospects, and community partners.
- Monitor annual plan performance and ensure achievement of revenue targets.
- Ensure consistent and compelling brand positioning to advance Radiance's reputation and profile in the community.
- University degree in a relevant discipline, such as business, not-for-profit management, public relations, communications, or marketing.
- ~5-7 years' experience in resource development, project management, or a related field, preferably in a not-for-profit environment.
- Strong experience with marketing and communications, including digital marketing platforms and trends for the not-for-profit sector.
- Demonstrated experience with event management and budget development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Prior experience in one or more funding database programs is essential.
