About the Office of Alumni RelationsThe Office of Alumni Relations serves over 115,000 alumni, providing them with exceptional experiences and opportunities to engage with their alma mater.
The office plays a vital role in maintaining meaningful connections between alumni and the university community.
About the RoleWe seek a highly skilled and strategic Director of Alumni Relations to lead our team in creating impactful experiences for our alumni community.
The successful candidate will work closely with division leaders and university faculty to promote Mount Royal's brand story and develop innovative initiatives to connect alumni back to the university.
- Develop and implement shared projects that benefit multiple audiences, including alumni.
- Assess current alumni programs and identify new initiatives to enhance engagement.
- Build strong relationships with MRU faculty and leaders.
- Participate in external relations work and community partnerships.
- Connect with alumni in meaningful ways.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 10 - 15 years of increasingly responsible public or alumni relations experience.
- Exceptional judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in a collaborative environment.
- High energy, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Preference for individuals with experience in post-secondary education.
- Special consideration for graduates of Mount Royal University.
MOUNT ROYAL UNIVERSITY OFFERS A COMPETITIVE SALARY RANGE OF $105,845.00 - $125,955.00 PER ANNUM.
