This is a permanent, full-time position with 35-40 hours of work per week. You must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least one year of experience in food service, or equivalent.

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including hiring and training food service staff;
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates;
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required;
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, including Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Safe Food Handling certification;
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks;
  • Client-focused approach with efficient interpersonal skills.
