About This Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to join our team at Caneast Immigration Services.

Job Description

This is a permanent, part-time position working approximately 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and distribute mail and other materials in a timely manner
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for staff members
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to the appropriate personnel
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Greet clients and direct them to the relevant contacts or service areas
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents accurately and efficiently
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Familiarity with English language
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $25,000-$35,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
