We're looking for a highly skilled Process Excellence Expert to join our Claims Optimization team at Intact. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency and customer service delivery through process improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead or participate in process improvement projects from ideation to implementation and control of solutions
  • Optimize claims business models and processes to improve operational efficiency and customer service delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map current state and define future state using a process improvement framework
  • Advocate change in the business to satisfy strategic objectives and enhance employee and customer experience
  • Utilize change management and project management techniques to lead or assist in the implementation of sustainable changes
  • Collect, research, pull, and organize data to answer specific business questions
  • Perform statistical analyses and compile results
  • Conduct cost benefit analysis activities
  • Propose creative business solutions and make viable recommendations
  • Transform and communicate complex concepts to various stakeholder groups
  • Develop documentation for process improvement initiatives
  • Train others in adopting a continuous improvement mindset and utilizing a process improvement framework
What You Bring to the Table

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-5+ years of experience as an advisor, analyst, or similar role
  • STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) preferred
  • Previous work experience in the insurance industry, especially in the Claims department
  • Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred, with a combination of applied experience/education also considered
  • Applied project management and change management experience
  • Beginner to Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office and data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Process mapping skills, including value stream mapping experience
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data and concepts into usable information
  • Excellent presentation skills to various levels of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset
  • Curious nature and ability to dive deep into complex problems and concepts
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
  • Problem-solving and persuasion skills to overcome resistance to change
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative environment and provide/receive constructive feedback
