Educational background in Recreation or related field is an asset. Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in sport specialty area. Experience in staff supervision and program coordination.", "Certifications and Licenses": "Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates. AODA Customer Service/IASR Training. Appropriate certification in the relevant recreation/sports program.", "Knowledge": "City of Ottawa Policies and Procedures. Demonstrated awareness of Safety/Security of programmes.", "Competencies, Skills and Abilities": "Ability to work in a team setting or independently. Maintain a fun and safe environment. Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, organizational and programming skills. Flexibility. Creative. Enthusiastic. Reliable.", "What You Need to Know": "Language Requirement: Various language requirements, locations may require English only, French only OR Bilingual competencies.
