Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and team members.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food products.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help staff improve their skills and performance.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure we have the right products on hand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards.
- Prepare Budgets and Reports: Develop and manage budgets, and prepare regular reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
