Quality Management Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Management Coordinator to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. This is a temporary, full-time position with a long assignment of approximately 18 months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and supporting evaluation and research into mental health and addictions through the utilization of mental health and addictions information management systems. This will involve coordinating and organizing program evaluations, acquiring and synthesizing academic and grey literature, and preparing and managing databases for data collection.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, or Health Science/Social Science, with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience. They will possess expert-level knowledge and skills related to data linkage, data analysis, statistical manipulation, interpretation, and knowledge translation.
The successful candidate will also have experience in program and service development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as demonstrated expertise in using business intelligence tools and software. Knowledge of the Canadian Institute of Health Information and associated databases is also an asset.

About YouWe are looking for a candidate who is self-directed, motivated, and able to work independently. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
They will also have a strong understanding of mental health and addiction information systems, as well as experience in using and reporting from large datasets. Knowledge of other languages, particularly French, is an asset.
A skill test will be included as part of the selection process.
HoursThis is a long assignment full-time position, with 70 hours biweekly. Some travel will be required between sites, and the position is flexible within the province.
