We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Canada Starlight Education Group Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for arranging and co-ordinating seminars, conferences, and other events. You will also direct and control daily operations, direct staff, and plan and control budget and expenditures.


You will be responsible for supervising other workers, training staff, and recording and preparing minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences. Additionally, you will determine and establish office procedures and routines, oversee the classification and rating of occupations, and plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies.


Other responsibilities include scheduling and confirming appointments, managing contracts, and answering telephone calls and messages. You will also be responsible for ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory, recruiting and hiring staff, and supervising office and volunteer staff.


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities


You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work independently. You will have the opportunity to work with minimal supervision and are expected to work 30 to 40 hours per week.


Applicants must be proficient in English and have a college or CEGEP education. Experience of 7 months to less than 1 year is required.
