Job Title: SCADA System Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA System Support Specialist to join our team at Enbridge. As a key member of our SCADA Support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, data integrity, and security of our Gas Distribution SCADA applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in maintaining a reliable, available, and stable SCADA system
  • Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting and break-fix support when required
  • Support development, implementation, and leading preventative maintenance practices for operating system and hardware health
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, security, and reliability of the SCADA system
  • Craft new and modify existing SCADA displays and reports, keeping with industry standard methodologies for control room management
  • Configure and commission data points for new and existing facilities
  • Perform break-fix and troubleshooting of SCADA applications and its related infrastructure including business interfaces, remote devices, SCADA network and hardware platforms
  • Assess application deficiencies and evaluate vendor provided or 3rd party provided solutions via new components, upgrades, or patches
  • Ensure compliance with Enbridge cybersecurity policies through timely patching, access management, hardening practices, and actively participate in disaster recovery
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6+ years of directly related work experience within a pipeline environment
  • Working knowledge of SCADA IT infrastructure including network, workstations and servers in addition to a solid understanding of RTU, PLC and End Devices communication protocols
  • A valid driver's license that will be verified upon hire
