Job Title: Bell Person/Valet Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bell Person/Valet Attendant to join our team at The Westin Nova Scotian. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Warm Welcome: Greet guests with a smile, offer assistance with luggage, and park their vehicles with care and precision.
  • Be a Source of Information: Respond to guests' inquiries about directions, local attractions, and hotel services with a helpful attitude and a smile.
  • Ensure Guest Safety: Follow hotel safety and security policies, anticipate potential problems, and report any issues to management.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Must be available to work daytime, evening, overnight, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a hotel or related customer service field preferred.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
