Job Title: Bell Person/Valet Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bell Person/Valet Attendant to join our team at The Westin Nova Scotian. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm welcome to guests, offering assistance with luggage and parking their vehicles.
  • Be a source of information, responding to guests' inquiries about directions, local attractions, and hotel services.
  • Ensure the safety and security of our guests' vehicles and property, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs, providing personalized support and care.
  • Deliver messages and room service orders, running errands for guests as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby and entrance area, ensuring a positive first impression for our guests.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • 1 year of experience in a hotel or customer service field, preferably with a focus on guest services.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
