At Scotiabank, we are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our Commercial Banking team. As a key member of the group, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) in serving our clients across Canada.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of credit analysis and financial statements, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You will work closely with our CRMs to provide deal structuring and credit adjudication services, ensuring that client files are complete and accurately documented.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will have a strong commitment to customer service and a proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deal structuring and credit adjudication services to CRMs
- Ensure client files are complete and accurately documented
- Work closely with internal partners to facilitate loan fundings and fulfill conditions precedent
- Support portfolio monitoring and review processes to maintain portfolio quality
- Assist with servicing activities, including non-credit and other requests
Requirements:
- College/University degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and credit analysis
