Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food. You will train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. Your tasks will include estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, preparing budget and cost estimates, addressing customers' complaints or concerns, maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and preparing and submitting reports.
Supervision ResponsibilitiesYou will supervise food service counter attendants and food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers, and other support staff as needed.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a team environment. You should have experience working in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role. Additionally, you must be able to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
