About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our care team, you will provide direct, hands-on care to patients based on their individual needs and program/unit requirements.

Reporting to the Health Services Manager, you will work under the supervision or direction of regulated health professionals to support patients' activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. You will also reinforce patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and the plan of care.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in continuing care and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will possess a Continuing Care Assistant Program certification and be registered and active with the CCA Registry. Additionally, you will have current Basic Life Support Certification and demonstrate effective listening and communication skills.

$23.71 - $25.70 hourly
