About the Role

BDO is a leading professional services firm that values its relationships with clients and employees. We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Domestic Tax team, who will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate client business processes and policies, providing expert advice on tax policy and changes to meet market needs.
  • Develop proactive tax strategies to capitalize on business opportunities, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address tax issues relevant to the client's business.
  • Provide technical and project management leadership to team members, ensuring quality control standards are met.
  • Identify and develop strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, including tax reorganizations and return preparation.
  • Engage in staff training and invest in the professional development of your team.
Requirements
  • 7 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance.
  • Completed CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Program or Master's in Tax.
  • Strong teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
