Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Banff National Perk Cafe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our cafe, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain records of stock, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customer complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Operations Management: Establish work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and prepare and submit reports to management.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Language: English
- Work Term: Permanent
- Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week
