Job Summary

Airframe Repair Specialist with Porter Airlines, based in Toronto, will be responsible for the maintenance of our Q400 fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and make repairs according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures.
  • Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems.
  • Install or modify aircraft engines, mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems.
  • Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble.
Key Qualifications
  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • A college diploma in Aircraft Avionics from a Transport Canada approved educational facility is mandatory.
  • Valid Ontario full "G" driver's license (or out of province equivalent) is necessary.
  • Able to obtain a Canadian Passport.
  • Able to obtain necessary security clearances.
  • Successfully complete the company screening process.
