We are seeking an Appliance Repair Specialist to join our team at Dimpflmeier Bakery Limited. This is a permanent full-time position with a work term of 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field or equivalent. Key responsibilities include conducting voltage and resistance tests using electrical test equipment, preparing written estimates of repair costs, and referring to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts. Additional requirements include diagnosing faults using testing devices, repairing electrical appliances and components, replacing faulty components, and advising customers on work performed and equipment condition. The ideal candidate will have dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and be a team player.

As an Appliance Repair Specialist, you will use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances. You will also support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
