Job Description:
A healthcare leader is required to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you will play a critical role in enriching the lives of our residents by ensuring they can make their own choices and lead full lives as independently as possible.

Salary:
$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
As an RPN, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Participating in continuous quality improvement standards.
  • Assessing the needs of individual residents and organizing plans of care to promote maximum resident independence.
  • Providing direct resident care, including medication administration and treatments, in accordance with current and approved standards of care, policies, and procedures.
  • Supervising attendants or designated staff and providing job guidance.
  • Ensuring accurate records of nursing observations and procedures performed.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of grade 12 education.
  • A recognized nursing license (RPN licensing) and good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED.
  • Previous experience working as an RPN in a healthcare setting is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and evaluate and meet resident care needs.
