We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Gangnam&Coco. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor junior chefs. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing kitchen staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with knowledge of international cuisine and menu planning. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments within the company.

In this role, you will be expected to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, while adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will also be responsible for implementing new menu items, recipes, and cooking techniques to stay ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs, including pricing and inventory management.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, using fresh ingredients and presentation techniques.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, providing guidance and feedback on performance.
  • Maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, monitoring usage and ordering replacements as necessary.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and training skills, with ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with others.
  • Knowledge of international cuisine and menu planning, with ability to create innovative dishes.
