Senior Operations Director for Manufacturing and Logistics



Job Overview

SIHE International Group is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Director to oversee the manufacturing and logistics operations of our organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing organizational policies and programs, authorizing major department establishment, and coordinating regional, divisional, or departmental work.



Job Description

The Senior Operations Director will be responsible for allocating material, human, and financial resources, authorizing senior staff positions, coordinating work across regions, divisions, or departments, establishing organizational objectives, and representing the organization in official functions. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in purchasing, procurement, and contracts, as well as knowledge of international trade, forecasting, and ISO standards.



Responsibilities


  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services
  • Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures
  • Plan and control budget and inventory
  • Forecast production and consumption of products
  • Complete and process international purchase orders
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Implement programs on optimum inventory levels


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, purchasing, and logistics. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a similar role are required. The candidate should have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.



Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience.



Work Environment

The Senior Operations Director will work in a manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on food processing. The role requires regular travel, both domestically and internationally.
