Business Development Director

Reporting to the Vice President Nuclear Strategy, Business Development & Services, this role will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Aecon Nuclear. Key objectives include:
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in domestic, US, and international markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop objectives and strategies in support of overall Nuclear business development goals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Aecon Nuclear strategic business plan.
- Track and report on industry events, partnerships, and announcements to inform business development decisions.
- Pursue emerging market opportunities in Nuclear, including Small Modular Reactors, Decommissioning, and Waste Management.
- Prepare and execute business development action plans for target markets and clients.
- Manage and monitor opportunities, pursuits, and sales activity from identification to award of business.
- Provide advice and liaison on business development matters, including risk analysis and contract review.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence and reporting on Nuclear market trends.
- Strong understanding of the Nuclear industry and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify relevant trends.
- Commercial knowledge and experience in contract review and risk analysis.
