Business Development Director - Nuclear Strategy

Reporting to the Vice President Nuclear Strategy, Business Development & Services, this role will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Aecon Nuclear in domestic, US, and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to support overall Nuclear business goals in target market segments.
  • Assist and lead the development of the Aecon Nuclear strategic business plan, tracking and reporting on industry events, partnerships, and announcements to inform business decisions.
  • Pursue emerging market opportunities in Nuclear, including Small Modular Reactors, Decommissioning, and Waste Management, Innovation, and future lines of work.
  • Prepare and execute business development action plans for target markets and clients, managing and monitoring opportunities, pursuits, and sales activity.
  • Provide advice, liaison, planning, and risk analysis, including review of Terms and Conditions, pre-bid recommendation forms, and chairing or attending pre-bid and bid closing meetings.
  • Develop and maintain market analysis through research and digital sources, providing regular reporting and business intelligence on Nuclear markets.

  • Ability to report and analyze data for relevant trends
