Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part Time Team Lead to join our team at Canada Post. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the efficient processing of all classes of mail on assigned shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team leadership, with a minimum of 1 year of experience managing a team or 2 years of experience working within a unionized environment. You will be responsible for supervising the processing of all classes of mail, promoting and implementing workplace safety and health programs, and administering human resources processes such as staffing, performance management, and attendance management.

As a Part Time Team Lead, you will be expected to estimate workloads, recommend and authorize the use of overtime as required, and investigate abnormalities to improve performance and implement best practices in productivity. You will also be responsible for maintaining administrative records on volumes processed and employees' time and leave in SAP, and performing administrative tasks related to the operation of the shift.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • High School diploma or provincial equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum 1 year experience managing a team or 2 years experience working within a unionized environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
