Job Summary

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' payment processing systems. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of electronic devices at merchant locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support to merchants experiencing issues with their payment processing equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems related to point-of-sale systems, cash registers, printers, and network infrastructure.
  • Install new payment processing equipment and configure it according to client specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer interactions.
  • Build strong relationships with merchants by providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in electronics, information technology, or a related technical field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices.
  • Strong understanding of network cabling and connectivity principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
