Are you a leader looking to make a difference in the security industry? We are seeking a highly skilled Security Assistant Manager to join our team at Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton.

About the Job

The successful candidate will provide guidance and leadership under the direction of the Security Manager to the Security Department. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of company assets, facilities, employees, volunteer workers, and guests. Your leadership skills will enable you to maintain good relations with patrons and staff, while ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are carried out successfully in alignment with AGLC regulations, Casino Terms and Conditions, operating guidelines, and Century's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment within the realm of job responsibility.
  • Perform duties in compliance with safety procedures, including the use of safety equipment.
  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of security personnel under the direction of the Security Manager.
  • Execute assigned duties positively and professionally following AGLC, Casino Terms and Conditions, Century operating guidelines, and established policies set out in the Security Policy and Procedures manual.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Gaming related experience preferred but not essential.
  • Ten (10) or more years of recent and related experience in security enforcement is desirable.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in a management position is desirable.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
