Job Title: Security Officer - Kingsway MallCompany Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Kingsway Mall. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and property.

Estimated Salary:

$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to maintain effective relationships with clients and patrons.
  • Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, noting any concerns.
  • Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • De-escalate crisis situations, provide support, and liaise with emergency personnel as needed.
  • Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers.
  • Write clear and detailed reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and day-to-day reports.
  • Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s).
  • Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities.
  • Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Alberta Security License.
  • Class 5 Advanced License or higher (GDL or Class 7 not accepted).
  • 6+ months of security experience.
  • Full availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
