At McDonald's Restaurant, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with accurate and timely information.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, noisy, and odours.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, restaurant.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, walking, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, and initiative.
