Job Description:Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical Psychologist Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising graduate students, research assistants, para-professional staff, and other psychologists. You will also use standard psychological tests for assessment, provide therapy, counsel individuals and groups, apply psychological theory and principles, maintain accurate records, plan intervention programs, administer standard psychological tests, interpret test results, deliver presentations, and help clients manage physical illness and disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise graduate students, research assistants, para-professional staff, and other psychologists
  • Use standard psychological tests for assessment
  • Provide therapy
  • Counsel individuals and groups to achieve more effective personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment
  • Apply psychological theory and principles regarding behavior and mental processes
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Plan intervention programs
  • Administer standard psychological tests for assessment
  • Interpret test results
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia
  • Help clients manage physical illness and disorders
Requirements:
  • Provincial or territorial Psychologist's Certificate of Registration
  • Membership in a provincial or territorial psychological association
  • Membership in the Canadian Psychological Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Biofeedback experience
  • Client-centered or humanistic/experiential therapy experience
  • Cognitive therapy experience
  • Crisis intervention counselling experience
  • Eclectic therapy experience
  • Psychotherapy experience
  • Brief therapy experience
  • Systematic/interactional therapy experience
